I’m narrow, I’m nimble, I cut through the tide, with paddle in hand, a lone rider glides. I read the same forward as I do behind, what am I that floats on waves so wide?

A tube of sorts, carved by water and time, creating vast landscapes to gorge on. Always deep, sometimes wide, sometimes narrow.

It cannot be seen, it cannot be felt, Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt, Lies behind stars and under hills, and empty holes it fills. Comes first follows after, Ends life kills laughter.

I hide beneath, yet feed the tall, Without me, life would surely fall. I drink in silence, never seen, I am the start of every green. What am I?

I prowl, I growl, I stalk, I pounce; I’ll eat your kibble, but may prefer mouse.
